Male Fitness Models and Bodybuilders - Freddy Konings
My name is Freddy Konings. I'm 32 years old. I was born on 17/12/72 in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. Curacao is a small island in the Caribbean Sea, just north of the coast of Venezuela. Curacao is part of the Dutch Kingdom, thus I have the Ducth nationality. I speak Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu, which is the local language. Till this day I still live in Curacao.
When I was 19 I started with bodybuilding, to put some mass to my frame. I was a soccer player, but a very skinny one, so I had to put some mass to be able to keep up with the competition. One thing lead to the other and I stopped playing and started actively in bodybuilding, which I do till the day of today, not so active anymore though......now I'm more into fitness.
In 1999 I was approached by a local Pageant Organization to represent the island in a male pageant held in the Philipinnes, called the Manhunt International. I had to lose aproximately 60 pounds to be able to participate, I did so in 6 months!!!!!
Since then I continued modeling, especially in the fitness industry.
Through my career I modeled in countries such as: Greece, Aruba, Turkey, Philippines, USA, Canada and Venezuela......and of course Curacao.
I've appeared in many fitness magazine, such as, Men's Exercise, Exercise for Men Only, MuscleMag, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Olympia News, Curacao Nights, Raymond Vino's 2004 Calendar.......
In the future I would like to have my own business of course related to the fitness and health industry.
